Safari

is a web browser made by Apple Computer for its product line. The current release is Safari RSS (version 2.0). It uses the KHTML rendering engine, developed by the Konqueror team, which is responsible for many contributions to the Linux kernel and interface systems which sit on top of Linux. Safari was the first web browser to pass the webstandards.org Acid2 test. Apple contributed its changes back to the KHTML development team, and Konqueror enjoys this status as well.
